What skills you have

Traditional animation at it's finest here. Loved everything about it, keep it up buddy.

turtleco responds:

I loved everything about your review ;)

Very entertaining

I loved almost everything. Only thing I couldn't appreciate was the odd modifier you added to the alien voice. It sounds like the voice mod from PS3... other than that, cheers!

AWESOMZE!!!!!

Great work! The laugh is a seller for sure. I recall seeing your other animation with these characters like a year ago or something and I totally forgot about them, thanks for the reminder and keep it up.

Jonimator responds:

It's out of 10 here haha. Your hurtin' me bud :P

That was pretty funny

What can I say...hmmmm. Sound, it was a bit tinny and off-time. Other than that, great job buddy.

I could swear there is something in the rules

about submitting content like this. What the hell is happening in this? It's all random. I agree poster below, sorry, but I don't think this makes any sense and I don't know what positive reinforcement I can give you in hopes of bettering your storytelling abilities.

Good luck mate

I don't understand the point of this

I agree with a couple post below, you have potential, but this, i have no idea why you would spend time animating something like this and then upload it here on NG.
Spend time creating pieces of quality, something you can actually expect to get a good review of constructive critiques on. This, this is just not the way to start....

Good start

Obviously there are a lot of things missing. My suggestion is to refrain from uploading something just to say you did. I mean, if it's feedback you're looking for, what kind would you expect from a trailer that cross-fades every 3 seconds to something that has nothing to do with the prior shot? It's hard to tell what is really going on with this animation, but I see potential if you take time to flesh out the idea behind the story and even take more time to compose the trailer that is supposed to excite viewers about a completed animation.

What else can be said about this?

This was done very well! There didn't need to be any over-the-top animation or art for any reason, just what you did and the audio track and BAM! the perfect, little munchkin of a flick. Bravo, bravo!

I will never understand this rating system...

Why do people give you a 10 or a 9 and then tell you how to improve it? A 10 means it doesn't and can't get any better!! A 9 means your only complaint better be that this guy didn't post this sooner. In my opinion, this animation lacks everything. Who is she, what the hell is he? Who is Henry, who are the other names on the list? Is she a whore? Is that why she has a list of other guys? Is this ripped from Death Note? There is no story here so what do you mean you wrote the script? If you did write a script how many sentences was it?

Ok, so there is you BLAM! What can you do to improve? Try storyboard, try fleshing out the idea before concluding it. As has already been said, show some life in the movement of the characters. At one point it looks like the 'thing' is shrinking? What the heck is that? This is your first post, which is why I am giving you a 2 for making your mark with such a hard to understand piece. Plus you got front paged which makes it all the more unbelievable. As if the world of NG NEEDS to see this....

Randomness Confuses the mind

I get the stick guys, that hasn't been done yet. I also get the randomness of the compilation... the only thing I don't get is 'WHY'?!?!
Why have so many people work on 7600 frames of randomness? Isn't that like almost a short movie? I'd love to see what kind of sensible work you and the 29 other animators can construct while focusing on the fact that you're going to be tweening almost 8k frames!

Bond84 responds:

Well...it was 29 animators working towards a goal of random...What isn't to get?
This was actually pretty sensible, it gave everyone a freedom to do as they wished how they wished, some people such at Tentionmaru did a dragon with super glowy effects while a different user just hopped into a car. It left freedom for each person in a sensible and fun way.
There are also barely any tweens in comparison to the actual animation itself. There are *Maybe* 40-50
tweens in 7600 frames of animation...Half of those being for the credits.

I've spent a vast majority of my working life doing jobs less conducive to my passion than I care to admit. I've decided to make a change, the change will be vast! I am starting from scratch on a project that is sure to turn heads here at NG!
