I've spent a vast majority of my working life doing jobs less conducive to my passion than I care to admit. I've decided to make a change, the change will be vast! I am starting from scratch on a project that is sure to turn heads here at NG!

The cool thing about not being known on NG is that when I post updates, it's really just updating myself! How entertaining. Anyhow, my mine project is being postponed while I work on something smaller to refine my skills and knowledge of TBA. A lot of people here use FL, which I am not privy to. I never used vector art for anything until deciding to create a cartoon for my kid.

Most my time is and was spent in PS doing artsy things (which I am also taking a break from to focus on my animation).

Anyway, the story I will be releasing (hopefully in less than 2 months) is about a kid who makes a wish which has a very unexpected outcome. It's going to be short and to the point and basically focusing on timing, effects animation and facial expression. Anything else you see in the piece is just there to help shoulder the story.

Here's to upholding yet another ridiculous deadline!!!!!

YOU CAN DO IT!!!

I've been hard (or hardly) working on the script and storyboard for my personal project and it's just damn time consuming. I also play a lot of COD black-ops and it pisses me off that I do that when I have an agenda. Just an update though, the story is fleshing out and being re-written every other week it seems. The reason is because it's got to be GREAT, not good, not ok and not just acceptable. This is meant to be my work of art that turns heads and creates buzz... so it will.

I have been designing characters and brainstorming the setting of the story and as I already said, it changes, a lot. I often comment on peoples work with a standard; put more energy into story and basic character design. I say that just because you can draw and just because you can keyframe a cut-out animation, this does not make your work good or great for that matter. What makes a great work of art is time and consideration. Creating a story, a drive, something the watcher can empathize with.

I see a lot of work here that really jars me at the amount of time that must have been spent only to produce something shy of even good. Whatever though, cause that's them and not me! :D

Look forward to the teaser trailer coming soon!!!!

Well hello there fellow NG'ers! I am new to this site and I would just like to take a moment to enlighten the folks who cross this url. My name is Bane and I am currently hard at work on a project that is sure to turn heads and break the mould of norm.

How much of what you see seems under subpar? I wont comment on that because my whole point is that I intend to create something that will speak for me! Look out for project 'OTE' this next year!
